A social butterfly I'll never be

I am such a spatz when it comes to social situations. Haha.

I met my colleague and his wife during dinner today. I knew that she'd been really ill recently, she'd been hospitalized and he had taken almost a week's leave to be at her bedside. (So sweet!)

So I asked her how she was, and I wanted to say a bit about how well she looked now, but what came out was "you look happy now".

Ugh. It was after work, and she was having dinner with hubby dearest. Of course she should look happy lah.
